Take a look at DLI's cutting
edge Vibration Continuous Monitoring System.
SpriteMAX™
SpriteMAX is a fully independent online data acquisition and
diagnostic system. With its integral online software, it can be
installed remotely without the need for a local network
infrastructure. Connect a broadband modem to it at the remote
site to monitor its results or integrate it with your local
monitoring system. Vibration and process data, trends,
diagnostic results and repair recommendations can be viewed by
accessing SpriteMAX with only a web browser. |
A UNIQUE
APPROACH
DLI Watchman® SpriteMAX™ is the culmination of 40 years
of vibration analysis experience embodied in a product that is
unique in the marketplace. Most online monitoring systems either
collect overall vibration data and issue alarms or they send
reems of vibration data from the machine to a workstation where
someone is expected to analyze it. SpriteMAX is unique in that
it collects a great deal of complex vibration and process data,
analyzes it and comes up with an accurate and concise fault
diagnosis right at the machine! The fault diagnosis and a repair
recommendation are then made available to the appropriate
personnel in a variety of formats depending upon their needs.
Complex data may also be distributed to a central site(s) for
further analysis if necessary. Download a guide to some of
SpriteMAX's Interfaces
SpriteMAX™ IS COST EFFECTIVE
From purchase to installation to implementation, use and
maintenance, SpriteMAX was designed with operational efficiency
and cost effectiveness in mind. SpriteMAX's modular design and
Ethernet (or WiFi) connectivity make it scalable and easy to
install. SpriteMAX is designed to be installed on or very close
to the machines it will monitor, greatly reducing cable runs.
Instead of cabling many sensors to one SpriteMAX, multiple
SpriteMAXs are installed in the plant and networked together. In
previous generation online systems, installation costs typically
dwarfed the hardware and software costs - this is not the case
with the SpriteMAX.
EFFICIENT OPERATION
One must consider why one is installing a vibration monitoring
system and how it will be used. Systems that only produce vague
vibration alarms are not very useful because someone will need
to interpret the alarms and determine their cause. This requires
additional tests and expertise and possibly additional
equipment. If the online system just moves large volumes of data
from the machine to a workstation, who will have the time to
analyze all of this data? SpriteMAX is the only system on the
market that can turn complex vibration data into an accurate
fault diagnosis at the machine. The idea was so good in fact
that we patented it!
REMOTE MONITORING
SpriteMAX can be managed, maintained and accessed remotely via
the Internet. This offers benefits on a variety of levels, from
installing software upgrades to monitoring difficult to reach
installations. SpriteMAX can notify distant individuals about
changes in machine condition. Service centers can access
SpriteMAX results and raw data in order to support customers.
INTEGRATION
SpriteMAX is configured using DLI's ExpertALERT™ software and is
therefore compatible with all of DLI's portable data collectors
and analyzers. SpriteMAX is OPC DA compatible, meaning it can
access information from your control system to aid in its
analysis and fault diagnostics. SpriteMAX can also output its
fault reports in OPC format so that they can be easily
integrated into existing control panels or displays. SpriteMAX
also outpts information in XML format making it easy to
customize your interface to the system.
EMBEDDED POWER
The compact but surprisingly powerful Sprite manages data
acquisition, network services, automated machine diagnostics and
supports a full range of application software. The heart of
Sprite is an industrial-class running Windows® XP Embedded.
Onboard nonvolatile memory capacity ranges from 512 megabytes to
several gigabytes.
WIRELESS CONDITION MONITORING
Sprite’s standard network interfaces include both a sealed RJ-45
connection to your plant’s wired Ethernet and an integral 802.11
wireless network adapter. If you need to install Sprite in a
remote, hard-to-reach or outdoor location, save time and
installation costs by utilizing its wireless networking feature.
TOUGH AS NAILS
Sprite’s billet aluminum enclosure was designed to exceed IP-67.
It can be submerged in water, operate at 60º C (140 deg. F) and
can withstand continuous exposure to vibration of 15 G RMS
(0-5kHz). Its operating system and mass storage utilize the
latest in compact flash high-density technology, offering the
ruggedness of solid-state memory. |
