Level 1 Infrared Thermographer

Tai Chi Instructor

Certified Hypnoterapist

Liane Harris is a degreed Chemical Engineer with years of experience in the manufacturing industry and reliability maintenance. She has worked in three different countries: Philippines, U.S., and Canada. In the U.S., she worked at Boise Cascade in Louisiana in the Technical and Engineering Department as the plant’s Energy Engineer. It is in this facility that she has used ultrasound and knew of vibration analysis. In Canada, she worked with Domtar Specialty Fine Papers in St. Catharines, Ontario as a Process Engineer for the specialty paper machine. In 1996, she went full time in Airborne Ultrasound Technology and its applications, first in Sales and Customer Support, then as a worldwide trainer. In 2002, she picked up Vibration Analysis.

Liane has continued to provide ultrasonic inspection services including Compressed Air Leak Surveys, Ultrasonic PDM, and Ultrasound-Vibration Analysis to various manufacturing industries. Liane is an ASNT Certified Level 3 vibration analyst and diagnostician, Level 1 Infrared Thermographer, and Level 2 Airborne Ultrasonic inspector. Giving formal and informal trainings has always been a part of Liane’s working and community volunteer services life. She is a Certified Trainer with United Way for various non-profit agencies and a volunteer Tai Chi instructor for the Salvation Army Liberty House in Toronto. As an individual who believes that all senses must be involved for optimum learning and retention, she incorporates this belief in her methods of teaching, to the benefit of her students.
