Option 1: You have the manpower but no in-house expert to do Predictive and Preventive Maintenance Program

You have the in-house manpower but no in-house expertise to do the predictive maintenance of your machines. This option is chosen if you want to use your in-house personnel to do data gathering or oil sampling on machines. The data or tests will then be sent to our office for compilation and analysis. Recommendations and diagnostics will be done based on the data sent to us.

We have a recommended plan to get you started on proactive maintenance. It's a two level plan and you are free to change directions along the way.

In-house Manpower Plan:

Time period for this plan: 2 years with regular vibration, ultrasound PdM, and/or oil tests on machines.

Level 1

1. Survey machines and decide which inspection tests need to be implemented on which machines.

2. Train in-house personnel on machine preparation and data collecting of machine vibration. (for Vibration Analysis)

3. Train your in-house personnel how and where to take oil analysis samples on identified machines. Filled bottles will be sent to our office for analysis. Oil Analysis bottles will be provided regularly. (for Oil & Particle Analysis)

4. Train your in-house personnel how to take Ultrasound PdM readings on machines.  (for Ultrasound PdM)

5. Once personnel is comfortable, he/she can continue taking data or oil samples from the machines. These data or samples will then be sent to us for analysis, compilation, and reporting.

You can choose to stay in this arrangement or move on to Level 2.

Level 2

1. Personnel training on vibration analysis starting from Level 1 to Level 2. Personnel training on vibration software.

2. Transfer database to your personnel's computer.

3. In-house personnel will start analyzing vibration data that he collected.

4. Continue oil sampling and oil analysis tests.

5. Continue Ultrasound PdM.
