Higher Than the Kitchen Counters For those times when the Spirit takes over mind and body. "Mind over matter." - we heard that before. We have also seen what happens when this activity occurs. We become witness of the "impossible" becoming possible. Things that we think could not be becomes an is. We are left with awe and wonder. What happens though when the human spirit becomes the driving force? What happens when a need, a motivation, or a desire is strong enough that it overcomes physical and mental weakness? If we put the perspective back to our kitchen, the result will surely be higher than the kitchen counters. It can even pass the kitchen roof and beyond. This part of the blog is a collection of experiences from ordinary people who have been in what may seem to be in an extra-ordinary situation. Often, the situation is an unfortunate condition or an extreme dire need. The situation were overcome only when the forces bigger than ourselves work together in unity to make a phenomenal change in the person and those around him. This part of the blog is for you. That the experiences of others can inspire us to stay strong and have hope. That the experiences of others can motivate us to do something and reach out to the less fortunate. That the experience of others unite us in love with humanity. After all, we are all one and in this planet together.
