DCA-31
Intrinsically Safe Data Collector
The DCA-31/IS allows the user to
perform vibration analysis in hazardous areas such as those
commonly found in the petrochemical industry.
Intrinsically Safe
The DCA-31/IS is certified according to ATEX (European
Community) directive 100a for non-mining applications with a
gaseous explosive hazard continuously present ( II1G EEx ia IIC).
IS certification information can be provided upon request. |
Integration
The DCA-31/IS can be integrated with a number of condition
monitoring systems, including ExpertALERT, AdvancedALERT®, DLI
Watchman® DCX™, and DCX Online™ systems. Load or unload your
survey data through its traditional serial port.

Unit includes a single-axis sensor, 6-foot coiled sensor cable,
AC charger cable, PC communications cable, hand strap, and
operating manual.

The DCA-31/IS accepts a variety of sensors, including ICP®
accelerometers*, velocity transducers, displacement probes,
infrared temperature sensors, DC input, or signals from
installed monitoring equipment. Please note that sensors must
also be IS certified for use in hazardous environments.
*ICP® is a registered trademark of PCB.
The DCA-31/IS includes a digital signal processing (DSP)
microprocessor that operates at a bandwidth of 40 Khz. This
translates into rapid data processing and averaging so your data
collection is fast and real-time displays do in fact, represent
REAL time.
